CPERC 2024 – Québec City – June 11-14, 2024 

Almost 300 delegates from pharmacy faculties across Canada reconnected with colleagues and friends in Québec City for AFPC’s 2024 Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (CPERC), June 11-14 at the Delta Québec Hotel. CPERC 2024 was co-hosted by Université Laval and Université de Montréal.

PROGRAM

The program consisted of educational streams for pharmacy educators and researchers. Education sessions were on June 12 & 13 with a post-CPERC symposium on June 14. Social events included an opening reception (June 11), awards gala (June 12) and Montreal-Laval fun night (June 13). Check out the final program. 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The call for oral and poster abstracts closed on January 22, 2024, with a record 181 abstracts submitted. AFPC invited pharmacy educators, researchers and students to submit abstracts for CPERC 2024 for oral presentations (during concurrent mini or SIG sessions) or poster presentations, under four categories: 1) pharmacy education initiative, 2) teaching and learning research / scholarship, 3) pharmaceutical science and 4) pharmacy practice research. 163 abstracts were published as a Nov/Dec 2024 special supplement of the Canadian Pharmacists Journal.
