CPERC 2025 – Niagara Falls – June 17-20, 2025

Reconnect with your colleagues and friends in Niagara Falls for CPERC 2025 AFPC’s annual Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference, June 17-20 at the Crowne Plaza Fallsview Hotel. CPERC 2025 is co-hosted by the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo. New for 2025 is a joint pharmacy practice research symposium following CPERC on June 20, 2025. 

CPERC PROGRAM

The CPERC program will consist of educational streams for pharmacy educatoPErs and researchers. Education sessions will be on June 18 & 19 and include keynote presentations, mini and concurrent sessions, faculty updates and poster presentations. Social events include an opening reception (June 17), awards gala (June 18) and Toronto-Waterloo fun night (June 19). The preliminary program will be available in early 2025. SYMPOSIUM
The June 20 symposium, Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy, is co-hosted by the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada, Canadian Foundation of Pharmacy (CFP) and Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network (OPEN). This full day symposium will focus on strengthening the health of Canadians through research in pharmacy practice. It will include keynote presentations, mini and concurrent sessions, and poster presentations.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – Deadline January 31, 2025
The call for oral and poster abstracts for CPERC and the Symposium is now open for submission by pharmacy educators, researchers and students. CPERC and the Symposium will be using the same abstract online system used in previous years to submit, peer review and manage abstracts – MyAbstract: https://events.decorporate.ca/AFPC2025/abstract/. CPERC 2025 abstracts can be submitted for oral and poster presentations, under 3 categories: 1) pharmacy education initiative, 2) teaching and learning research / scholarship, and 3) pharmaceutical science. AFPC, CFP and OPEN invites pharmacy practice researchers and students to submit abstracts for the symposium. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and authors will be notified by April 15. CPERC REGISTRATION – Opening in January
Early bird rates are in effect until May 15. Full conference registration includes the opening reception, awards gala and the Toronto-Waterloo social event tickets. Early bird prices for full CPERC registration are $750 for AFPC members, $850 for non-members and $350 for full-time students (plus 13% HST). A $50 credit is applied for registrants who do not want to attend the awards gala. Early bird single day rates are $350 / $400 / $150 for members / non-members / students. Rates increase May 16 to $850 (members), $950 for non-members and $400 for students. Early bird registration fees for the Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy Symposium are $350 for members and non-members, and $150 for students. Symposium rates increase May 16 by $50.

CPERC 2025 and the Symposium will be held at the Crowne Plaza Fallsview Hotel, located at 5685 Falls Ave, Niagara Falls, Ontario. The special group rate for CPERC delegates is $129-179 per night (excluding taxes).
