Interprofessional e-Learning

The Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) and Canada Health Infoway have created a national, online, competency-based, educational resource called e-Learning for Healthcare Professionals (

Two new open-access interprofessional online courses, e-medication reconciliation and e-prescribing, are now available for medical, nursing and pharmacy students.

This e-learning course is a component of Infoway’s Digital Health Faculty Associations Content & Training Solutions (FACTS) initiative. It is aimed at improving graduate’s preparedness for work in technology-enabled environments by integrating digital health into curricula on a pan-Canadian level. The FACTS Program was a recipient of the 2017 Ted Freedman Award for Innovation in Education.
