Conference Overview

Reconnect at Virtual CPERC 2021!

Join your faculty colleagues for AFPC’s annual Canadian Pharmacy Education and Research Conference (CPERC) from June 1-17. This year, we’ve gone virtual due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

CPERC is the largest annual gathering of pharmacy educators in Canada. We also welcome students, researchers, other health educators, our international colleagues and others to join us. Presenters will share innovations and research in pharmacy education, discuss current challenges and exchange ideas.

CPERC 2021 opens on June 1 with a session on Equity-Diversity-Inclusion and Anti-Racism. Don’t miss the half-day Program Evaluation Symposium on June 9, co-hosted by Université Laval and Université de Montréal, and featuring keynote speaker Dr. Danielle Blouin from Queen’s University. Other conference highlights include:

  • Faculty Updates on Innovation in Education
  • Indigenous Initiatives across Canada’s Schools of Pharmacy – Practical Tips to Aid Implementation: hosted by the AFPC Truth & Reconciliation SIG
  • AFPC-UBC Academic Electronic Health Record (aEHR) Project
  • 3 Mini Sessions, each with 4 presentations
  • AFPC Special Interest Group Sessions: Skills Lab SIG, PEP-C Experiential Education SIG, Educational Assessment SIG, Medicinal Chemistry SIG
