Tenure-Track Appointment in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Applications are invited for a full-time tenure track appointment in the Pharmaceutical Sciences. The appointment would normally be at the level of Assistant Professor, however qualified candidates may be considered at the rank of Associate Professor. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a field or fields related to the teaching and research responsibilities of the position, and post-doctoral research experience is preferred.

Teaching experience will be considered an advantage.
A completed earned doctorate is required for the appointee to receive the rank of Assistant Professor and to be in a tenure-track position. (If a successful candidate has not completed an earned doctorate, he/she shall be appointed to a regular term, non-renewable three-year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. If the candidate completes all the requirements for the doctorate during the first 24 months of the term appointment, he/she shall begin a tenure-track appointment following completion of the requirements of the degree). The School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. Research strengths include drug delivery, discovery and development. Collaborative research with nationally and internationally-recognized universities and research institutes is encouraged.
The School of Pharmacy is located in the Health Sciences Centre on the campus of Memorial University. This facility also houses the Faculty of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the Health Sciences Library, the General Hospital, and the Child Health and Rehabilitation Centre. This integrated complex has allowed close working relationships, in both research and teaching, among the faculties of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy.
