LECTURER IN PHARMACY, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan

The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition invites applications for a limited term faculty appointment at the rank of Lecturer, for the period August 16, 2012 to August 15, 2013. Applicants require a first professional degree in Pharmacy, relevant clinical experience and strong communication skills. A graduate degree (eg, PharmD or MSc) and previous teaching experience will be assets. Licensure as a Pharmacist in Canada is required.

Responsibilities for this position include teaching in the areas of therapeutics, pharmacy practice, drug information, pharmacokinetics to students in the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program, and pharmacology to students in the College of Nursing, specifically PHAR 250.3 Pharmacology for Nursing, NEPS 251.3 Pharmacology for the Practice of Nursing, and 50% of the lectures in NURS 881.3 and 886.3 Pathophysiology/Pharmacology for Advanced Nursing Practice I and II.
